Job Description We’re recruiting for a Technical Manager to join our Bereavements Team. As a Bereavements Technical Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service within Retail Annuities Bereavements. You’ll use your expertise in systems and processes to ensure technical accuracy and compliance, while driving improvements that enhance customer experience. You’ll proactively identify and mitigate technical and operational risks, ensuring adherence to processes and escalating issues to compliance teams when needed. A big part of your role will be finding smarter, safer alternatives to manual workarounds and applying continuous improvement principles to streamline processes and reduce end-to-end times. This position is central to delivering consistently excellent customer outcomes. You’ll provide technical advice, resolve complex queries, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions that make a real difference.
