Job Description As an AB Seaman at Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island, part of the esteemed Minor Hotels portfolio, you will play a vital role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of marine vessels, contributing to the overall success of our maritime services. Your responsibilities will include executing deck operations, ensuring vessel cleanliness, and collaborating with the Boat Skipper to create exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the safe navigation and operation of marine vessels under the guidance of the Boat Skipper. Execute deck duties, including mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling, in adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with the engineering team to perform routine maintenance tasks, ensuring the vessels are in optimal condition. Report any issues or required repairs promptly to the designated personnel. Follow and enforce all safety procedures, protocols, and guidelines to ensure a secure maritime environment. Participate in regular safety drills and be prepared to respond to emergencies. Assist guests during embarkation and disembarkation, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. Provide support for water sports activities, ensuring the safe use of equipment. Maintain the cleanliness of the vessels, including the deck, cabins, and public areas. Implement sanitation practices to uphold high hygiene standards.
