The Managing Director will specialize in grant consulting and strategic advising in the fields of biomedical sciences, population sciences, healthcare resource and services programs, among others, as well as interdisciplinary fields. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Managing Director is a high-impact role within our Healthcare Practice, responsible for driving the execution of sophisticated grant-seeking strategies. Reporting to the Practice Leadership Team, you will serve as a strategic partner to clients—ranging from academic institutions to healthcare systems—helping them navigate the complex federal funding landscape, generate competitive proposals, and secure awards. Strategy & Research Development Strategic Planning: Partner with organizational leadership to identify institutional priorities, strengths, and assets as they relate to external funding. Develop funding strategies and action plans to implement deliverables to advance organization’s priorities. Project Management: Manage the end-to-end development of grant proposals with clients, including complex, research center grant proposals (budgets exceeding $20M). Coordinate proposal development team, including subject matter experts, writers, editors, and graphic artists.
