As a member of the Dementia Respite Cottage, You will be part of the Leadership team and key in the strategic drive and delivery of respite services for clients living with cognitive impairment, BPSD and complex health conditions. The Site Lead (EN) works within the Respite Care Services team to deliver the SCC vision of supporting clients wellbeing through leading the mission of “Doing with, not for” approach to support clients to maintain their quality of life.
This role will see you working closely with the Registered Nurse and will support a person-centred care within our dementia specific environment. In addition to this you will monitor and review client’s care needs, identifying early signs of decline or changing needs, escalates to the RN, and working with the Respite team to implement strategies that support the client’s ongoing participation and holistic wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
