Job Title: Medical RadiationTechnologist (MRT) – Northern Ontario
Pay Rate: $65-75/hr

We are urgently hiring an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) with strong phlebotomy skills and a solid background in chemistry, hematology, and blood bank procedures for a short-term placement starting July 15 in Northern Ontario. About the Role:
You will be working on-site at a client hospital and must be comfortable jumping into a fast-paced lab setting. You’ll be relied on for your precision, professionalism, and ability to operate independently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) in good standing with the CMRTO (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical lab experience preferred
• BSc in Medical Laboratory Science is an asset
• Strong phlebotomy skills required
• Comfortable with manual tube testing in the blood bank
• Proficient in:
• Vitros 5600, Vitros 7600, DXH 800, DXH 520, ACT top 350, GEM 3000, Clinitek Status Advantus
• Meditech Expanse, OMNI, Unity

• Perform a wide range of lab tests and procedures
• Collect and process specimens (including phlebotomy)
• Analyze and report lab data accurately
• Operate and maintain lab equipment
• Follow quality control and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely results
