Essential Functions · Obtains patient history and performs comprehensive assessment via observation, interview, and examination. Orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic studies. · Provides counseling and education to residents and their families concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. · Provides care in the context of promoting age and culture, appropriate informed choices and shared decision-making. Salary starting at $125,000 plus experience. Requirements · Must possess an active, unencumbered license to practice as a Nurses Practitioner in Maine and be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures. · Must be eligible to practice independently as outlined by the Maine Department of Professional and Financial Regulation Board of Nursing. · Demonstrated experience as an independent Nurse Practitioner is preferred. · A current valid license to operate a vehicle in the state of Maine and a driving record that is satisfactory to the company may be required. · Must complete a criminal history record check to the satisfaction of the company.

Candidates must be graduates from an accredited Registered Nursing program and hold current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. BCLS and ACLS certifications are required, along with a minimum of one year of experience in Critical Care.
