The role involves monitoring service users’ wellbeing, observing changes in condition, and promptly reporting concerns to supervisors or clinical staff. Care Assistants also offer companionship, emotional support, and clear communication with service users, families, and colleagues to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. Documentation of care provided and adherence to safeguarding, health, and safety standards are essential parts of this role.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong caregiving and dementia care skills, with experience supporting individuals with varying levels of physical and cognitive needs.
  • Candidates should possess effective interpersonal skills and communication abilities to build trust, show empathy, and collaborate with service users, families, and care teams.
  • Candidates should possess safe manual handling skills and an understanding of mobility support, including correct use of equipment and adherence to health and safety procedures.
