POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Outpatient Lead Counselor is responsible for assisting the Market VP and other leadership in the management and direction of a multidisciplinary team for outpatient programming. The Adolescent Lead Counselor will actively communicate with support staff, treatment teams, and outside agencies on treatment and safety issues pertaining to clients and their family members. Additionally, this position will provide individual, group and family therapy for clients, as required by contractual and licensure obligations and will complete all documentation associated with these duties in a professional and timely manner. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the outpatient program and facility assigned including treatment services, programming, and all key responsibilities required by state and federal guidelines Collaborate with the Market VP and other leadership to assist in meeting business and clinical objectives; support/maximize current business activities and provision of quality client care Evaluate staff competency.
