Position: Patient Navigator – Hereditary Cancer Testing 📍 Location: Murrieta, CA 🕗 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am to 4:30pm 💼 Job Type: Full-time | In-Person About the Role As a Patient Navigator specializing in Hereditary Cancer Testing, you will support patients through critical stages of their diagnostic journey. You will be based at our partner location in Murrieta, CA, providing education, coordinating care, and assisting with phlebotomy. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure a seamless, supportive, and professional patient experience. Key Responsibilities Provide education and support for high-risk patients undergoing genetic testing. Register patients and schedule follow-up appointments. Qualifications Required: 2+ years of recent experience as a Medical Assistant working with a clinical team, OR a bachelor’s degree (or senior soon to graduate) with strong communication skills, empathy, and an interest in medicine, genetics, or patient-facing healthcare roles. Ideal candidates may be pre-med or planning to pursue medical or graduate school. Experience with insurance verifications and authorizations (minimum 2 years). National Certified Phlebotomist or LPN preferred but not required. Current BLS certification. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable) Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a Patient Service Center or similar outpatient environment.
