Basin Dentistry is seeking an energetic Dental Office Receptionist for a part-time position that will transition to full time, in our growing private practice in Midland, TX. This is a unique opportunity to join a state-of-the-art dental practice, and dedicated team. Our office incorporates the newest technologies to offer the best in patient care in the Permian Basin. We are looking for someone who’s reliable, can perform multiple tasks at the same time with ease, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service. The receptionist position is the hub of the office, you’re often the first person the patient meets when they contact our office, and you’re responsible to set the tone for an overall positive patient experience. That is why excellent customer service skills are a requirement.
Our practice prides ourselves on putting our patients first. That is why we offer early morning, and evening appointments to minimize the interruption to the work day for our working professional patients. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 7a – 6p; this position would be required to open the office 1-3 days a week and/or close the office 1-3 days a week, your average work day would begin at 6:45 a.m or end at 6:45 p.m.
We’re looking for professional candidates with proven clerical and customer service experience to begin as soon as possible. Our ideal candidate is motivated, a team-player with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. Our office is digital and paperless; strong computer skills will be essential for success. Previous dental software and medical scheduling is a plus, this position will be required to answer and direct incoming phone calls, schedule patients, confirm appointments, verify insurance, assist with new patient registration and any other tasks required of the front business office.
