Role responsibilities include:

• Be a trusted advisor go to expert for your expertise area services / products.
• Help design, implementation and optimization / improvement of IT security solutions in the network security area.
• Be involved in incidents, analyze them, identifying the root cause and advice improvements on the services as well as processes on the client side.
• Support correct implementation, configuration and operation of networks/applications/systems related with your area of responsibility (network, data and web security components).

Role requirements include:

• Excellent network and network security fundamentals
• Experience working with (and securing) various components / tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, visualization platforms)
• Experience and / or interest to build (further) experience on topics such as network virtualization, cloud security and other relevant areas.
• Interest in helping design, correctly implement and optimize / improve IT security solutions
• Optimization / improvement mindset, good communication skills and
• Experience with different product vendors (Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco or other) is a pre, open to be educated and trained on new security products.
• Experience with Linux, and an automation mindset when it comes to configuration management, deployment and relevant scripting (e.g. ansible / chef, python etc.).
• Flexible approach, ability and interest to add value in different projects, structured and service minded approach.
