The Inbound Supervisor is responsible for managing all inbound operations within a technical hardware warehouse environment. This role oversees the accurate and efficient receipt, inspection, and processing of shipments, ensuring inventory accuracy and readiness for deployment. In addition, the Inbound Supervisor leads technical equipment projects, including software updates, hardware configuration, and troubleshooting rejected or damaged items. This position works closely with vendors, internal teams, and warehouse associates to maintain operational excellence, improve processes, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
This is a salaried position requiring flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and peak periods as needed. You will report to the Warehouse Manager.
In This Role, You Will::

• Inbound Operations Management: Oversee daily inbound operations, including receiving, inspecting, sorting, and logging shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Technical Equipment Oversight: Manage the testing, software updates, configuration, and troubleshooting of technical hardware, ensuring all items meet standard deployment requirements.

• Inventory Management: Ensure all received inventory is accurately updated in the system through audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes to maintain high data integrity.
• Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with shipping vendors, suppliers, and repair partners to resolve discrepancies, damaged shipments, or hardware issues while ensuring consistent service levels.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse associates on the inbound team, promoting productivity, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.
• Quality Control and Documentation: Verify shipment quality, conduct inspections of technical equipment, and ensure all documentation aligns with receiving protocols and inventory systems.
• Performance Metrics and Reporting: Track key inbound metrics, including receiving accuracy, processing times, and inventory discrepancies, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve inbound issues, such as shipment delays, damaged items, or technical failures, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve receiving workflows, reduce errors, and enhance operational efficiency through process improvement initiatives.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with freight teams, inventory control, and project managers to align on priorities, resolve challenges, and support seamless warehouse operations.
