Role accountabilities: * Ability to oversee several projects at the same time.  * Provide proactive planning and project management to assist project teams and ensure project coordination among all parties and stakeholders.  * Ability to manage a project from planning through construction including initial planning, design management, contract review, construction procurement, construction management, and close-out.  * Manage project procurement activities. Coordinate and obtain all necessary regulatory permits.  * Manages/Coordinate design professionals, general contractors, and construction manager partners and oversee their work.  * Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.  * Manages both internal and external risks within the project’s lifetime.  * Contribute to culture of health and safety on the projects.  * Has ability to perform project inspection, on site, verifying that necessary inspections and testing are performed and documented.  * Hold project meetings as required and disseminate information and action items.  * Monitors contractor progress against baseline schedule.  Primavera P6 experience is a plus.  * Reviews of contractors change order requests.  * Review and approve contractor pay applications.  * Manages project turnover documents and project closeout.  * Ability to interpret and understand construction documentation including plans, specifications, contracts, and related addenda.    Qualifications & Experience: Required Qualifications:  * Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.  * Minimum of 5 years of experience    Preferred Qualifications:  * 7 or more years of experience with an architectural, construction management, or facilities team, public works experience a plus  * Ability to exercise strong judgment and be capable of anticipating, analyzing, appraising, evaluating, and resolving problems of a difficult procedural, organizational, administrative or technical nature.  * Proven track record of delivering high quality projects on time and within budget as a necessity.  * Be organized, deliberate and thorough, with the ability to relate complex processes and concept    Why Arcadis?
