We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst for a 6-month contract duration. The successful candidate will have a strong background in various project delivery methodologies and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This is a hybrid role.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Hands-on experience with various project and product delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative Agile.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using technical solution design and prototyping tools to assist in JAD sessions.
• Proven experience with OPS I&IT Processes, Standards, and artifacts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal, written communication, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of courts business processes for criminal, family, and civil justice lines of business is a definite asset.

• Conduct JAD sessions with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate a wide range of requirements, including configuration, functional, non-functional, and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of configuration data with business needs.
• Translate business and functional requirements into clear system specifications.
• Conduct and document stakeholder interests and business needs, including conducting interviews and workshops.
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and identify areas for improvement.
• Create and validate use cases, user stories, journey maps, and process flows.
• Work closely with the architecture team to complete project gating documentation.
• Conduct and support quality assurance and user acceptance testing, including defect identification and documentation.
• Handle project coordination and end-to-end project management activities with the team and external stakeholders.
• Assist with system and user interface design and modifications as required.
