The Diagnostics, Prognostics & Health Management (DPHM) discipline within CDS is responsible for the development and deployment of cutting-edge data acquisition systems, diagnostics, prognostics, and analytics. This includes Usage Based Lifing (UBL) for P&W engines and components and deploying state of the art development tools & methodologies. In this role, we are seeking an analytics and data engineer to be a member of DPHM’s Commercial Analytics and Data Engineering team. The team develops the systems that ingest aircraft and flight data, the tools to access and analyze it, and the analytics which provide critical results and alerts to keep the fleet flying as smoothly as possible. The team provides a solid framework for downstream engineers, data scientists, and analysts to work in so that they can focus on analyzing the data and solving physical problems, instead of becoming mired in data wrangling. Collaborating closely with downstream teams is essential to developing the best next generation tools, algorithms, and analytics for commercial applications.
