In this role, you will initially focus on Test Equipment Design and transition to Electrical Design Engineering. This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager. What YOU will do: Design, develop, and integrate Collins products within the Test Equipment Environment in multidisciplinary engineering teams. Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, circuit designs, and analyses. Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development and manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to develop proven hardware designs that meet system performance and operational specifications. Lead and perform circuit card design lifecycle activities, including requirements capture, schematic capture, design documentation, circuit design analysis like Performance, Stability, ESD/Lightning, Decoupling and Signal/Power Integrity analysis, creation of board stackup and routing instructions, coordination and review of printed wiring board layout, creation of test plans, root cause analysis, and integration. Design, document, verify, support, test, and troubleshoot digital hardware for communication products using electrical engineering principles and techniques.
