Taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and health of site employees and influence safe behaviors. Partnering with site POCs and EH&S subject matter experts to assure compliance including appropriate documentation to prove alignment with federal, state, local and company EH&S requirements. Executing initiatives, programs, reports and training across multiple EH&S disciplines, as required to achieve and maintain compliance. Investigating, analyzing and interpreting data from injuries and near-misses, and ensuring corrective actions are completed on time. Interacting with employees of all levels, promoting relationships, learning the tasks employees perform and becoming known as a resource to the employees at the sites within your region. Contributing to the development and implementation of EH&S strategic initiatives that drive continuous improvement. Identifying environmental risk and supporting the sites’ environmental compliance programs, including hazardous waste management, stormwater and ground-water protection plans, air quality permitting, wastewater and toxic chemical reporting.
