Wilson & Company’s Omaha, NE office is currently seeking a full-time Civil Manager to support the professional development and growth of the civil team within the Private Infrastructure organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in design projects and performing complex planning, analysis, and design for railroad-related projects. This position will have a primary focus on the daily operations of engineering personnel and interoffice collaboration for rail projects. We are looking for someone with great communication skills, who enjoys being part of a team performing office and field work, and ability to collaborate and develop solutions with other disciplines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Relevant experience in the railroad market sectors.

• Ten plus years of experience, licensure as a professional engineer, and an advanced degree in a related area of Civil Engineering
• Experience with Class I Railroads preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and licensure as a Professional Engineer license with the ability to obtain licenses in other states
• Experience that demonstrates successful management and financial responsibility of the engineering business
• Ensure quality management with implementation of quality control standards.
• Must be comfortable with frequent travel at times.
• Communication is key for this position
