JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Dispensing Assistant to join an Independent/Family Pharmacy group in the Chatham and Rochester as a Relief Dispenser. The role will require flexibility to cover holidays and any other absences over the 6 Lawsat Pharmacies in the Medway area. It is essential that you can drive and have your own car.
As a Dispensary Assistant you will be an important member of the pharmacy teams, giving great service and helping to create loyal customers that come back time and time again.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

You will need to have confidence, be a team player, self motivation, with good customer skills and the ability to communicate well with patients. Good IT skills will help too. 2 years + pharmacy experience is essential. You will be required to offer advice on medication by asking appropriate questions and involving the Pharmacist when necessary.
The working week will be 42.5 hours, Mon-Fri 8.30am to 6.00pm (1 hour for lunch) and the opportunity to work overtime, if available.
