A respected plaintiff personal injury law firm in San Rafael is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with strong pre-litigation experience who can also provide support throughout the litigation process when needed. The ideal candidate is someone who can hit the ground running, manage a high-volume caseload, and work closely with attorneys to move cases efficiently toward resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years of recent experience as a paralegal in a plaintiff personal injury law firm, with a strong background in pre-litigation work.
Proven ability to draft demands and negotiate directly with insurance adjusters.
Solid understanding of personal injury procedures, rules, and timelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-first approach.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.

Draft and prepare demand packages for settlement negotiations.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining regular communication.
Manage case files primarily during pre-litigation stages, including gathering records, organizing evidence, and tracking deadlines.
Coordinate with providers to obtain, review, and summarize records.
Maintain litigation calendars and ensure deadlines are met.
Prepare and file legal documents as needed in support of litigation.
Assist with trial preparation, organizing exhibits, and coordinating with experts, witnesses, and investigators.
Handle administrative tasks related to case management to ensure smooth workflow for attorneys.
