SAIC is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Team Manager to join our team and begin an exciting and challenging career. This position is contingent upon award of the contract. Responsibilities: Serve as an active member of the software development team participating in daily stand-ups. Responsible for successful delivery of a program to a customer; or manage performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of another PM. Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements. Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing. Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership. Support business development and program staff management. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Manages a medium size program staff that may include subcontractors or suppliers. Conducts financial discussions in coordination with internal cross-functional team. Uses standard, well-defined processes, procedures, techniques, or tools that may require program-specific modifications. Manage the performance, quality, and responsiveness based on customer SLAs Provide development support, as needed, for solutions deployed to production. Implement long term solutions and building blocks within the agile framework for improved reusability Interface with the stakeholders for project requirements Promote good software engineering practices such as test automation, modularization, and simplification. Collaborate, coordinate with colleagues on various solutions and problems Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools to include Azure Devops and GIT. Required Skills/Experience: BS Computer Science and minimum 9 years’ software experience. (Four additional years of professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree) Ability to pass background check and maintain status for contract that requires US citizenship. At least 5 years experience leading software development teams PMP certification is a plus Understanding of Microsoft .NET environment Understanding of REST and SOAP API development Understanding of XML and jSON Understanding of Azure Services Understanding of section 508 and accessibility coding approaches Understanding of MS SQL Server database and SQL Experience with Azure Devops and pipelines; Agile development using Azure Devops Ability to work in team environments across a diverse set of projects with multiple stakeholders.
