ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to: State Manager (NSW)
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Work Location: Sydney, NSW
As a Sales Executive - Internal , you will play a key role in driving sales growth and customer engagement by managing a portfolio of clients across NSW.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Managing and growing a portfolio of NSW-based clients through regular, structured phone contact.
Promoting CMA CGM Group and ANL services, including value-added products such as intermodal, CEVA, and e-commerce solutions.
Identifying and securing new business opportunities, including reactivating dormant or lost accounts.
Maintaining accurate customer data and sales activity records in CRM systems (NOVA/Market ID).
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and timely resolution of customer requests.
Monitoring and reporting on market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback.
Supporting sales planning, budgeting, and forecasting in line with State Manager directives.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

At least 3 years’ experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics—ideally in a sales or customer service role.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships over the phone.
A proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Solid commercial acumen and the ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
Strong computer literacy, including experience with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
A team-oriented attitude and the flexibility to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment
To be eligible for this role, you must have be an Australian citizen or permanent resident .
