About The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Officer to join the Pharmacy Department at Tamworth Hospital.

Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and wider team, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department. This varied role combines administration, coordination, customer service and stakeholder engagement, with opportunities to contribute across a range of activities.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Providing professional customer service as the first point of contact for telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.Supporting day-to-day administrative functions including filing, record management and organisational activities.Managing and ordering pharmacy consumables and monitoring stock requirements.Assisting with HealthRoster and roster-related administration.Providing recruitment support, including onboarding activities for new staff.Preparing meeting documentation, agendas and minutes.Supporting diary management and administrative tasks for the Pharmacy Director.Assisting with financial and administrative processes including purchase requisitions, receipting, invoices, reports and data entry.Coordinating correspondence and ensuring actions are tracked and completed within required timeframes.Maintaining accurate records in accordance with NSW Health policies and State Records Management requirements.Building positive working relationships with staff, patients, visitors and stakeholders across the hospital.
