We are searching for a talented Area Sales Manager to join our client, a leading manufacturer of timber doors, doorsets and associated joinery products.
In the role of Area Sales Manager you will cover the South West as part of the specialist sales team, developing new accounts whilst generating specifications with architects, designers and contractors for door and frame solutions.

• Specification Sales: 2 years (preferred)

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AS AREA SALES MANAGER INCLUDE:

• Developing relationships with Key Architectural Practices to secure joinery specifications.
• Identifying project opportunities with new customers who may include architects, designers and contractors.
• Facilitating and managing the supply chain with merchants, distributors and fit out specialists.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE OF AREA SALES MANAGER WE REQUIRE:

• An energetic and enthusiastic character who is a natural team player
• The ability to travel throughout the area (overnight stays may be required on occasion)
• Excellent communication skills and connections with property developers, main contractors, architects within the area
• A full UK driving license
  A knowledge of doors and related joinery products for use within the building industry would be a huge benefit for the role, however an understanding of the commercial routes to market for building products can also be considered.
