Senior, Fire Protection Engineer LAPORTE is looking for a Senior Fire Protection Engineer with ideally 7 to 10 years of experience in the design and implementation of fire protection systems, to join our team in Toronto. Responsibilities Perform code analysis and ensure compliance with applicable standards (NFPA, NFC, and local regulations); Design fire protection systems (sprinklers, suppression systems); Prepare technical documents: drawings, specifications, reports, and calculations; Provide technical support during construction: coordination, inspections, and commissioning; Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, process, building) to integrate fire protection systems into projects; Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and partners to ensure quality and compliance with requirements; Mentor and guide junior engineers and professionals within project teams.
