This includes designing/modifying production systems, equipment, and processes, and ensuring quality through FMEAs and Control Plans. The role requires managing competing priorities and delivering projects that align with plant and global objectives. ⦿ Shop Floor Engagement: Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, building credibility through listening and collaboration with operators, supervisors, and leadership. Incorporate operator input into process improvements and adapt approaches to the unionized environment. ⦿ Technical Expertise: Apply structured problem-solving, process capability analysis, and engineering economic tools to evaluate and reduce process variation.
