In the automotive OEM sector, we are the approved supplier to top German car markets such as Mercedes Benz and BMW. Meanwhile, Sika leads the field in total bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protection solutions for bus, truck and rail vehicle manufacturing, and for the assembly of appliances, industrial equipment and building components. Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd currently employs more than 340 people in Sales & Marketing, Technical Service, Finance, HR & Administration, Laboratory, Production, Purchasing, Customer Service and Warehouse. Job Description To increase the number of specifications of Sika products in tender documents produced by engineers, architects and other Specifiers through professional specifications and Value Selling of Sika products and systems. To expand Market Share To build a strong foundation and relation with specifiers To systematically approach all consulting engineers, architects, quantity surveyors and statutory boards to successfully sell technical specifications of the Company’s product lines. Responsible in preparing the technical documentation and drawings (specifier guide, general specification, proposal and specification drawing) for submission and technical consultation purpose. Generation of specifications of Company’s products lines for inclusion in tender documents produced by Architects, Engineers, and other Specifiers To maintain and increase the Company’s profile, and to promote our competitive advantage to Architects, Engineers, and other Specifiers. Collect and pass on appropriate market information (upcoming projects, activities of the competition, project references, trends, etc) To develop business opportunities and nurture relationship with specifiers Qualifications Diploma or Degree preferably in Building Lines (Arch, QS, C&S Engineers, Project Management Additional Information Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to communicate in Mandarin and/or local dialects would be an added advantage Intermediate Level computer skills including power point presentation, excel spreadsheet and AutoCAD applications will be an added advantage Effective interpersonal skills, presentation, and negotiation skills Strong organizational skills, having the ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment Self-motivated and self- initiative Able to travel when required Minimum 3-4 years of experience
