Job Summary The Account Executive will be part of NextGen’s expanding non-captive sales team and will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing financing transactions for small to large enterprise companies. The Account Executive will work closely with credit, operations, finance, and marketing and will be empowered to make decisions and contribute directly to the growth of the business. As an independent, non-bank entity, NextGen is positioned for profitable growth; NextGen is investing in expanding its sales team to position itself as a thought leader and trusted industry partner. This role is salaried + commission pay structure and reports to the VP of Non-Captive Sales. May be required to travel up to 25% annually. Key Job Responsibilities: Create programmatic and transactional relationships with manufacturers, dealers, end users, and/or finance partners. Identify and target potential customers through various channels. Close and fund a target of $20MM in originations annually. Actively piggyback transactions from sourcing to credit, structuring, and pricing to funding. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Monitor market trends, stay informed about industry changes, and update product knowledge. Occasional travel is required for client meetings, industry events, and training.
