POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA and data quality management to support an enterprise ERP transformation initiative. This role will be responsible for analyzing existing data sources, designing target data models, and ensuring accuracy, integrity, and governance across the migration process.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, document, and implement robust data models while embedding best practices in quality control, governance, and transformation automation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, preferably in SAP environments.
• Proven expertise with SAP ECG and S/4HANA data structures.
• Strong understanding of data quality management, harmonization, and data governance principles.
• Proficiency with data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar).
• Skilled in writing scripts or code (Python, SQL, or similar) to automate data quality enforcement and transformation tasks.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in large-scale ERP migrations or transformations is highly desirable.

• Analyze and document existing data sources, structures, and relationships across SAP ECG and related systems.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for the S/4HANA target environment, integrating data quality controls into all designs.
• Develop detailed data mapping specifications and oversee data transformation, cleansing, harmonization, and enrichment activities.
• Create and maintain automation scripts or code (Python, SQL, or similar) to streamline data curation, cleansing, structuring, and validation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP specialists, and technical teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive data dictionaries, mapping documents, and model diagrams with defined data quality rules and standards.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance during migration phases.
• Advise on data governance, master data management (MDM), and data integration strategies.
