JOB SUMMARY

Christ House of Glory International Church is a growing, prayerful and Word based Church and we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. As a team member, you will be part of providing a quality, Christian-based program that will help shape and impact the early learning of children.

REQUIREMENTS

• Implement a Christian based program that provides a variety of child initiated and adult- supported experiences for each child to thrive mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically and socially
• Plan, organize and implement a warm, caring environment for each child to grow and be committed to develop strategies to meet the needs of each child
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
• Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently in a busy classroom environment.
• Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in students while promoting teamwork among staff members.
• A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds is essential for success in this role.

• Develop and implement Christian principles and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage children in learning activities, ensuring all students are included and supported.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with Senior Pastor and leadership team to create a cohesive educational experience for all children
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to promote good conduct.
• Assess children’s developmental progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary to meet diverse needs.
• Maintain an organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning and exploration.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education best practices.
