Position Summary:   The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction of all new restaurant locations and remodels.   Essential Functions: * Manages all on-going construction projects for both new stores and remodels * Takes ownership of project from point of permit ready to be issued * Oversees and manages the construction of each restaurant * Manages punch list and sees through to completion * Manage project schedule and updates CEO weekly * Report project progress and budget to CEO * Collaborate with General Contractor, architects, engineers and other workers in the same project * Responsible for any delays, emergencies and problems that can arise * Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements * Explain contract and technical matter to others in a clear manner * Prepare budget and cost estimates, along with work timetables * Prepares preliminary and final site approval * Work with Landlord to insure timely delivery of Premises, follow up on turn-over date   Requirements: Education: * High School Diploma/GED Experience: * 5 years experience in a facilities role * 2 years of management experience Competencies: * Attention to Detail * Team Player * Independent Thinker * Organized * Good Communication Skills * Time Management Skills Qualifications Working Conditions: * Work is performed in an office setting, restaurant environment, and on construction sites * Travel up to 50% is required * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, bend, squat, crawl, demonstrate manual dexterity, talk, hear and see * Must be able to lift 40 lbs.   The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
