Job Introduction
As a Sodexo Assistant Cook at Cressex Community School,High Wycombe, you will support the cook manager in managing the school’s kitchen’s budget as well as all food and beverage operations. You’ll help the cook manager make sure the kitchen supplies are showcased, presented in the most visually appealing way possible, and that we’re providing the finest service we can. Furthermore, you will not be required to work irregular hours and will be guaranteed time off on public holidays, which includes Christmas!

What you do:

• Prepare, cook, present, and serve food to company standards which may include breakfast, morning break, lunch, and hospitality.
• You will adhere to all company compliance (such as Food safety, Health and Safety, Allergen awareness, COSHH and HACCP regulations).
• To carry out craft/ skills training for catering staff.
• To ensure that all service counters and food is presented to company standards.
• To guarantee that each dish served is portioned according to business requirements.
• To complete daily/ weekly cleaning duties as instructed by the line manager and this includes all food preparation and storage areas, all catering communal areas. Removal of waste from catering area.
• Deliver exceptionally high standards in customer service, cleanliness, tidiness, and other operational activity.
