JOB PURPOSE Firearm assembly for Palmetto State Armory Shotgun line. This individual will complete production orders by assembling critical firearm components and performing final firearm assembly according to work instructions and production requirements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for producing a quality firearm product without tooling marks or blemishes. * Assemble firearm components including fire control groups, bolt assemblies, and final shotgun assembly according to production specifications. * Read and interpret production orders and bills of materials (BOM) to ensure correct parts, configurations, and quantities are used. * Build product accurately based on work instructions and production orders. * Maintain high productivity while meeting strict quality standards. * Inspect components and completed assemblies to verify proper function and appearance. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation. * Safely and effectively operate required equipment and hand tools associated with firearm assembly. * Report quality defects or inconsistencies as needed. * Assist team members and support production needs when required. * All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent * Hand tool proficiency * Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset * Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly * Ability to read and interpret bills of materials (BOM) and production orders * Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of firearm components * Ability to identify and resolve problems as they arise * Decision making and accountability * Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and duties simultaneously * Safety and security awareness with the ability to identify and correct unsafe conditions * Ability to work at a sustained pace while producing quality work * Positive attitude, effective communication skills, and willingness to work as part of a team * Maintain confidentiality as required Preferred Additional qualifications. * 1 year of manufacturing experience with Palmetto State Armory * Previous firearm assembly or armorer experience * Knowledge of shotgun platforms and components * Passion for the firearms industry WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in an operational manufacturing warehouse environment. Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend, or holiday hours. Overtime may be required to meet production needs. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Team members are constantly standing, walking, carrying, pulling/pushing, bending, seeing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, hearing, as well as handing paperwork and using basic hand tools. Team members will be lifting objects weighing 50 lbs. or less regularly. Cleaning material and chemicals used regularly. DIRECT REPORTS Not Applicable Must be at least 18 years old.
