Job Duties: * Performance of all work orders, maintenance and repairs at the property as assigned * Prepare vacant units to Company market ready standards. * Complete regularly scheduled preventive maintenance activities. * Maintain the shop and storage areas in a clean, orderly, safe, and secure fashion. * Walk the property daily paying attention to appearance, deficiencies and general cleanliness of all areas. * Treat residents with respect, efficiency and courtesy. Requirements for Maintenance Technician: * Full-time position * Must be HVAC certified, or be willing to obtain certification within 6 months * Must have experience involving air conditioning, heating, carpentry, plumbing and electrical systems * Must be available for 24 hour on-call service, as assigned * Must possess a set of basic hand tools to use in performance of duties * Must have a good history of dependability and job performance * Must have adequate computer skills * A minimum of 2 years experience in multifamily maintenance or construction as a technician is preferred * Must possess a current and valid Driver's License Compensation/Benefits: * The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $25.00-$25.00.
