RECEPTION TEACHING ASSISTANT

About the Role:As a Reception Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with young children in the early years, supporting those with SEND through one-to-one or small group interventions. You will help to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where all children can thrive, particularly those who require additional support to fully engage in their learning. Your role will involve delivering personalised support to help students build foundational skills, both academically and socially.

• Individual & Small Group Support: Provide 1:1 or small group interventions, tailored to meet the specific needs of students with SEND.
• Supporting Early Learning: Assist in the development of early literacy, numeracy, and social skills, ensuring each child has the support they need to succeed.
• Inclusive Classroom: Help create an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and able to participate in lessons.
• Collaboration with Teachers: Work closely with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver interventions that help children engage with the curriculum.
• Building Relationships: Develop strong, positive relationships with students, offering emotional support and promoting their well-being.
