As a Design Engineer you’ll join a great team, working on projects ranging from simple design concepts, through to complex, bespoke solutions, on behalf of a wide range of clients covering numerous industries.
You’ll need to be competent with SolidWorks/AutoCAD, however you’ll receive full training on the company’s products and processes.
As part of your training you’ll be exposed to a range of departments across the business including Sales, Quality and Manufacturing, to give you excellent product knowledge and understanding of this fascinating industry, before you delve into the role of CAD Design Engineer!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Designing bespoke system solutions using AutoCAD LT and SolidWorks (3D).
• Responding to client or internal requests for technical drawings; this can range from producing simple 2D illustrative drawings of standard products, to liaising directly with major customers to design more complex 3D products from multiple production departments and external suppliers.
• Working closely with the Quality department to ensure compliance of existing products and developing compliance routines for new or modified products.
• Working closely with the Sales and Order Processing departments to provide support to them where necessary with regards to product designs.
