Job overview and responsibilities The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for implementation of large scale critical cloud infrastructure projects. They will work with the Principal Cloud Architects to implement core projects on United Private Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud related SaaS and PaaS deliveries. They will also work with our AppDev and DevOps partners to facilitate application migrations to the cloud. The Senior Engineer role will need to work with cross functional teams to enable and provide a mature and scalable experience for delivering workloads to the cloud infrastructure. The Senior Engineer will follow security and governance best practices and contribute to the Enterprise Architecture standards for cloud. • Lead the design, Implementation and support of cloud infrastructure projects. • Perform POC on new tools based on based requirements. • Mentor Team members and foster a collaborative and innovative environment. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, DBA, Architects) to ensure timely completion of projects. • Automate cloud infrastructure deployments and configurations using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform • Support and consultation for United Cloud. • Incident Response and Incident Management in United Cloud.
