We are currently seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist or CNC Apprentice Machinist to join a growing team in Elmira.
Location: Elmira
Industry: Custom Fabrication Machine Shop
Position: CNC Lathe Machinist - specifically experienced with Okuma machines
Shift: Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
Payrate: $35-$40

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of experience working with manual machinery and CNC equipment running Okuma machines
• 3-5 years of experience programming CNC machines
• experienced with CNC lathe machines
• experience with 3 axis CNC
• previous experience in a custom machine shop environment
• proven experience working with precision measurement tools and interpreting blueprints and design sketches
• ability to work as a team member and independently with the ability to take initiative
• licensed as a machinist 429A is an asset
