You’ll provide direct and consultative school-based physical therapy for students with motor, functional, or mobility challenges, collaborating with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary IEP teams. Key Responsibilities Deliver individualized and small-group physical therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs. Assess, document, and report on students’ physical and functional abilities using standardized tools. Develop and implement therapy treatment plans to improve motor skills, posture, balance, and mobility. Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to adapt classroom activities and environments. Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and team consultations. Maintain accurate and timely documentation per BIE and IDEA standards. Provide training and recommendations to teachers, aides, and families for carryover activities.
