• Proficient in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare professionals regarding treatment plans and client needs.
• Strong communication skills to ensure clear understanding between therapist and client, fostering trust and comfort during sessions.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and referrals.
• Ability to adapt techniques based on individual client preferences and physical conditions, ensuring personalized care for each session.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide informed treatments that address specific areas of concern effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registration with the College of Massage therapist of Ontario in good standing is required.
• Professional liability insurance is mandatory.

• Perform therapeutic massages tailored to the specific needs of clients, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
• Assess client conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough consultations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care or follow-up treatments.
• Document client sessions accurately, noting any changes in condition or feedback received during treatments.
• Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience and promote holistic health practices.
