OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to work one to one with a special needs child. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to ensuring the child to ​have the resources and guidance needed during the daycare time. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about caregiving and education, especially in early childhood settings.

Qualifications​

• Experience or education in early childhood education is preferred.
• Background in caregiving or working with children with special needs is highly desirable.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, family and other staffs.
• A passion for educating others and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated

• Provide direct support to Children with special needs, assisting in daycare activities and play
• Educate Child through engaging activities that promote learning and development.
• Facilitate classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Monitor progress and document observations to inform future support strategies.
• Assist in the implementation of educational programs aimed at enhancing life skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
