  • Must have experience in previous nursing home experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Experience of supporting the elderly.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in care planning and assessment.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines.

Deputy Manager Job Description: Recruit by Nature are currently seeking an experienced and skilled full time Deputy Manager to join our nursing home team. As the Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the Home Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents and the effective management of the home. The Deputy Manager role will be mixture of supernumerary and working on the nursing floor.

DEPUTY MANAGER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 37.5 hours per week (Supernumerary)
  • Supporting the Home Manager in the daily management & running of the Care Home. Managing, delivering & leading high quality care as part of the Nursing/care team using a person centred approach
  • Ensuring the individual needs of service users are met, providing opportunities for individuals to use their skills and enhance their quality of life, whilst maintaining their independence and privacy
  • Leading a team of Nurses in all aspects of Nursing Care including medication management, Care planning and wound care
  • Whilst being organised & reliable in approach to work.
  • Assisting in quality control audits and improvement plans
  • Contributing to nurse and care staff training and development programmes
  • This post involves both clinical and management responsibilities
