BAKER MCKENZIE LUXEMBOURG IS SEEKING A TAX KNOWLEDGE OFFICER TO JOIN OUR DYNAMIC TAX TEAM IN LUXEMBOURG.

As part of the Tax team, you will work in close collaboration with the Tax Lawyers and Tax Specialists depending on the legal & tax issues and informational needs related to clients files.

TRAININGS

• Organizing regular internal training sessions to keep lawyers up-to-date on tax news, hot topics, latest case law, best practices, and new tools (including legal tech tools and AI applications);
• Assisting in the training and induction of new joiners on internal processes, knowledge management systems, and legal resources.

We are looking for:

• Master’s degree in tax law and/or PhD in tax law;
• PhD candidates will also be considered for the role with flexible arrangement upon request;
• Experience in Knowledge Management is considered as an asset;
• Fluency in both English and French;
• Excellent written communication and drafting skills;
• Candidates with ability to be a team player with strong tax technical skills and effective communication skills to keep relevant lawyers and tax specialists informed in a timely manner;
• Candidates with highest working standards and strong service orientation — a “client first” culture;
• Candidates with ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity;
