ScottishPower are recruiting a Land & Estates Assistant to assist the Land and Estates Department in delivering the professional land and estate management services across the ScottishPower ManWeb (SPM) and ScottishPower Energy Networks (SPEN) businesses.
What you’ll do
Reporting to the Land & Estates Manager, you’ll be responsible for the management of Injurious Affection claim processes from receipt of claim through to legal completion ensuring records are maintained and kept up to date and reporting is provided in a timely manner.
You’ll provide support to the wider team on Estates matters including rental and other land/property related payments, whilst assisting the department with customer enquiries and process accordingly.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for candidates with knowledge of financial systems including SAP and preferably SAP RE. Those with an understanding of the Electricity industry is advantageous.
A team plater, with strong verbal and written communication skills, who can clearly communicate to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, landowners, land agents and so on.
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to work to tight deadlines, and use own initiative to problem solve and juggle multiple project and priorities.
You’ll be able to do landowner payment calculations and interpret terms of legal agreements.
A full driving licence is required for this role.
