What we are looking for :

We are seeking an experienced, full-time Logistics and Warehouse Manager to lead the day-to-day logistics, warehouse, despatch and receiving operations for our furniture and homewares business. This role will be responsible for driving efficient operations, maintaining high safety standards and ensuring a seamless, high-quality service experience.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Highly organised and solutions-focused, with excellent planning, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Operationally focused with a continuous improvement mindset, with strong knowledge of warehousing, inventory control and logistics best practices, a commitment to safety and compliance, and confidence using ERP and Microsoft Office systems.
• Strong people leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and effectively manage internal teams and key stakeholders.

This role will be based onsite at our HQ in Scoresby.

What the role entails :  

• Lead and oversee all Logistics, Warehouse, Furniture and Homewares Despatch, Receiving and site logistics operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives, service standards and operational targets.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, customer service and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational efficiency and performance, managing productivity, labour utilisation, KPIs, warehouse space and process improvement initiatives.
• Oversee inventory and warehouse controls, ensuring stock accuracy, effective storage and location management, cycle counts, stocktakes and timely resolution of variances.
• Manage inbound and outbound freight operations, including third-party transport providers, ensuring cost-effective, reliable and timely delivery performance.
• Ensure accurate and compliant ERP processes, including receipting, despatch, inventory transactions, data integrity and the effective utilisation of Epicor across logistics and warehouse functions.
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders, including Purchasing, Manufacturing, Planning, suppliers and freight providers, to ensure continuity of supply and effective operational outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, organised and high-performing workplace, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, 5S and visual management standards, while identifying opportunities to improve productivity, service, cost and operational performance.
