Job Description A high impact and strategic opportunity as an Executive Manager- Buying has become available within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent opportunity. In this pivotal role, you will join a department that is at the heart of what makes ALDI unique: our products. Leading a team of two Buying Assistants, you will be involved in the journey of our iconic hard goods special buys products, from conception to our store shelves. What does the role involve? Lead a team and actively support their skill enhancement and career growth. Oversee the end-to-end product tender process, managing key project milestones on the critical path, handling new product development, and maintaining the product catalogue. Weekly cost and supply negotiations with business partners. Management of the product tender process, critical path, administration, catalogue, etc. Support the Buying Director as required with the negotiation of fixed tender costs, recommendation on product selection, specifications, market and competitor analysis, reporting and relevant price recommendations. Operational execution of category strategy and enabling strong long-term business partner relationships. Qualifications What are we looking for?
