OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all accounting records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and experience with bookkeeping software.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting clerk, or similar role for 10+ years
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience in real estate or construction is an asset
• Strong communication skills to interact with vendors, clients, and internal staff
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile accounts regularly
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
