ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

District Workforce Support Unit is seeking an adaptable, flexible and independent Senior HR Consultant to join the HR Team. The team currently support a diverse range of district wide portfolios with some services undergoing significant changes, so you will have experience in working with multiple services and be adept in managing change. You will be a strong negotiator and communication will be key in your role. You will be able to manage competing priorities as well as influence others around you to find solutions. You will be working in a highly skilled and dynamic team who strive for excellence in their work. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the role and develop your knowledge in the health sector.

The Senior Workforce Consultant works in partnership with key designated portfolios to provide expert strategic and tactical human resources consultancy and support, and to assist teams to deliver business priorities that align with corporate and human resources strategy and innovation.
The role coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of HR solutions, aligned with business objectives, which addresses key workforce challenges for the medium and long-term. The role promotes best-practice HR and people management to achieve organisational success and maximise the effectiveness of the organisation’s workforce.
