Apex Educational Consulting Services Inc. (AECS) is seeking Instructor Therapists join our team and provide ABA services to individuals diagnosed with autism. In this role, you will work directly with clients to implement behavior intervention plans and skill development programs to enhance their overall quality of life. You will collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals, when applicable, to track progress, adjust strategies as needed, and foster a positive, supportive environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· A degree, diploma, or certificate in ABA or related field.
· Experience providing ABA in a centre-based setting.
· Knowledge of behavioral principles and ABA techniques, including data collection, functional behavior assessments, and intervention strategies.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and team members.
· Proficient in Word and Excel
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following treatment plans and collaborating with other professionals.
· Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes or other locations as required.

· Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients, implementing individualized ABA programs, and conduct skills assessments (e.g., ABLLS, VBMAPP, AFLS, PEAK) under the supervision of a BCBA/RBA.
· Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, focusing on skill acquisition, socialization, communication, and behaviour reduction.
· Prepare programs and program materials when needed.
· Collect and analyze data on client progress, behaviour patterns, and responses to interventions, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
· Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide training, support, and guidance on implementing ABA techniques and strategies in home, school, and community settings.
· Assist in conducting functional behaviour assessments to identify to inform behaviour plan development.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client progress, treatment plans, and session notes, ensuring compliance with agency policies and legal requirements.
· Participate in team meetings to review client progress, discuss challenges, and collaborate on treatment planning with BCBAs/RBAs, other therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
