JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Manual Centre Lathe Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating manual lathes to produce high-quality components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various materials. The Manual Centre Lathe Turner will play a crucial role in ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Manual Centre Lathe Turner or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using SolidWorks or similar CAD software for design purposes is advantageous.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in machining processes is preferred.
• Experience in welding techniques is a plus, enhancing versatility within the role.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
• A solid understanding of tooling and materials handling practices is essential.
