Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our esteemed team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in welding metal components to exacting standards, ensuring the production of high-quality products. This hands-on position requires expertise in welding techniques and proficient use of both power and hand tools.
Responsibilities:
Perform precision welding to join metal components as per technical specifications. Utilise Stick welding and other methods to achieve superior welds. Operate a variety of power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Conduct quality inspections on finished products to verify conformity to standards. Collaborate closely with team members to optimise production processes. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety and company protocols.
Skills:
Expertise in welding techniques relevant to the role. Proficiency in Stick welding methods. Effective operation of power tools and hand tools. Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations. Detail-oriented with a focus on craftsmanship. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
